Dr. Farinella grew up in Los Angeles and earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles in 1977. He went on to graduate from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry, Cleveland, Ohio in 1982, where he met his business partner, Dr. Kumamoto, and started their practice in 1983. He completed his general practice residency at the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles the year before. Dr. Farinella and his wife of 30 years have three daughters and reside in Mission Viejo. In his spare time he enjoys traveleing, watching sports and spending time with his friends and family.
Dr. Kumamoto moved to Orange County from Japan in 1962. She received her B.A. in Biology from U.C. San Diego and her D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Kumamoto and her husband have two daughters and a dog named Charlie. She enjoys watching college sports. especially football and softball and learning from her patients.
